Perhaps most of all, readers wanted to share articles that inspired awe, an emotion that the researchers investigated after noticing how many science articles made the list. In general, they found, 20 percent of articles that appeared on the Times home page made the list, but the rate rose to 30 percent for science articles
“Science kept doing better than we expected,” said Dr. Berger, a social psychologist and a professor of marketing at Penn’s Wharton School.Read more at www.nytimes.com

Hey Washington, you ready for more snow?

Eric Goldstein says:

I’d love to know the first words that come to mind after reading this clip. Mine were “you gotta be kidding.”

Three big thoughts about the Super Bowl: (i) The Saints wanted it more; (ii) Sean Payton way out-coached Jim Caldwell; (iii) After packing it in and basically fore-fitting the last couple of games of the regular season, i'm kind of glad to see the Colts lose.

Any talk of Payton Manning being the greatest quarterback of all time ended tonight. In my opinion, you can't even consider it after the way he played in the 4th quarter tonight. If he happens to win another Super Bowl, then maybe you can begin to talk about it again. But until then, I don't want to hear it.

The turning point of tonight's game was at the end of the 1st half after the Colts made an incredible goal line stand and then for some reason decided to try to play it safe and run out the clock. The move backfired and all their momentum was lost. You can't win Super Bowls that way. Very weak move by the Colts coach.

There is no sufficient way to apologize or acceptable justification for Amplify's servers being down this morning. This is the second time in a week and it is ridiculous. We owe you better than that...

In the spirit of Super Bowl Sunday, here's another football related thought...you can't compare a quarterback who plays indoors (or in warm weather) to one who plays in harsh winter weather. For that reason, i don't think you can call Payton Manning the greatest of all time. Look at Kurt Warner: amazing on the Rams, amazing on the Cardinals and horrible on the Giants.

I have less interest in the Super Bowl this year than ever before. Not sure why but i think it has something to do with the fact that both these teams play indoors. I don't consider indoor football to be legit. Part of what makes the sport special is the cold weather it's typically played in.

Way too much paper is wasted printing needless reciepts. @starbucks please ask before printing a reciept for the $1.98 I spend on coffee.

The problems on Amplify (and Clipmarks) tonight are because of a mistake I made an hour or so ago. Things should be up and running again in a few minutes. I am very sorry about this.
